Private Sector Organisations Gear Up for Nepal Investment Summit 2024 to Boost Private Investments

Nepal Investment Summit 2024 (#NIS2024), Nepal’s key private sector umbrella organizations, including the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), and Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC), have voiced their commitment to fostering private investments and economic growth in the region.

FNCCI President Message

Mr. Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of FNCCI, highlighted the significance of the summit in showcasing a diverse range of investment opportunities within Nepal’s thriving economy. With a focus on critical sectors such as infrastructure, energy, tourism, and manufacturing, the summit aims to align investment projects with the nation’s developmental goals.

CNI President MessageEqually enthusiastic about the summit’s potential, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Agrawal, President of CNI, emphasized the importance of attracting both domestic and foreign investments to drive economic prosperity. He expressed confidence in the summit’s ability to catalyze private investment, including foreign direct investment (FDI).

NCC President Message Mr. Rajendra Malla, President of NCC, underscored the collaborative efforts between the private sector and the government to create an enabling environment for investment through essential reforms. With meticulous preparations underway, the organizers are optimistic that NIS 2024 will serve as a pivotal platform for national and foreign investors to explore and capitalize on viable investment opportunities.
