Proton Electric SUVs Spark High Interest at NAIMA Expo 2026 Ahead of NADA Auto Show Debut

Proton’s electric SUV lineup has been drawing strong customer interest at the ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, with visitors showing keen interest in both the newly launched Proton e.MAS 5 and the Proton e.MAS 7 at Stall L-6, Hall B.

The expo, being held from August 11 to 16 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, has provided customers with an opportunity to experience Proton’s electric SUVs firsthand.
The stall has seen a steady flow of visitors exploring the vehicles, discussing features with product representatives, and enquiring about prices, ownership, and booking options.
The Proton e.MAS 5, a compact electric SUV designed for modern urban lifestyles, has attracted attention with its rear-wheel-drive platform, smart storage solutions, 14.6-inch display, 375-liter boot space, V2L technology and G-Traction Control System.
Its compact dimensions and practical features make it particularly suited to Nepal’s increasingly busy urban roads while offering the versatility required for everyday use. The e.MAS 5 is available in Prime and Premium variants, priced at NPR 32.99 lakh and NPR 36.99 lakh, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Proton e.MAS 7 offers a larger SUV experience for customers looking for greater space, performance and long-distance practicality. Its Prime variant is powered by a 160 kW electric motor and a 49.52 kWh LFP battery, delivering a WLTP-rated range of around 345 km.
It also features advanced driver-assistance technology and a 15.4-inch display, making it well-suited for both daily commuting and intercity journeys. The Proton e.MAS 7 is also available in two variants: Prime and Premium, priced at NPR 49.99 lakh and NPR 59.99 lakh, respectively.
With Nepal’s growing interest in electric mobility, the two models offer customers options suited to different lifestyles the e.MAS 5 as a compact and practical urban SUV, and the e.MAS 7 as a larger electric SUV for families and longer journeys.
Jagdamba Motors has invited customers to visit Stall L-6, Hall B, to experience both models, explore their features, and discuss booking options with the Proton team.
Customers who missed visiting Proton’s stall at NAIMA can visit Stall No. G-15 in Hall 4 at NADA Auto Show 2026 to explore and experience Proton’s latest offerings.
