The Salt Trading Corporation has begun selling food products through mobile vans. Saying that there may be issues for customers during the injunction, which has been in effect in three districts of Kathmandu Valley since April 28.
The company, which began distributing food via mobile vans during the lockdown last year, has resumed distribution during the injunction.
The company has been selling salt, sugar, rice, oil, flour, pulses, and nuts through mobile vans.
According to Information Officer Kumar Raj Bhandari, the company has been distributing food products by miking via mobile vans in various locations across the valley as per customer demand.
According to him, two vans have been running daily from 10 a.m. to sell food products on-demand to customers.
Our vans travel across the Kathmandu Valley, distributing food products based on customer demand.
The consumer’s desired location has gone. Even though there is no demand, regular vans travel to Anamnagar, Shankhamul, Chandragiri, and other places.
The contents of a single van will reach up to 80 families. Every day, the mobile van sells food to 300 families, he said.
In addition to mobile services, Salt Trading sells food and gas from four locations in Kalimati, Satungal, Koteshworgari, and Bhaktapur.
