In a significant move towards expanding financial services, Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha and Manakamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MKLB) have announced their merger, which will come into effect tomorrow.

The merger, approved on May 29 last year, brings together
Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, headquartered in Banepa-7, Kavrepalanchok, and Manakamana Smart Microfinance, headquartered in Siddharth Nagar-5, Rupandehi.
The newly formed entity will have its central office located at Banepa-7 in Kavre.
To facilitate the data migration necessary for the merger, all banking transactions from both companies will be temporarily suspended starting June 23, as stated by the company.
This strategic merger is expected to enhance the financial capabilities and service offerings of the integrated business, providing improved financial solutions to their customers.
The merger aims to streamline operations, optimize resources, and deliver greater value to stakeholders and clients.
