Samriddhi College located at Lokanthali, Bhaktapur has successfully organized the Samriddhi Fest. The college hosted the first edition of the Samriddhi Festival with the main saying being ‘By the students, For the students, To the students.’ The CEO of Samriddhi Educational Foundation, Naresh Prasad Shrestha graced the chairperson’s chair during the event.
The students currently enrolled in Samriddhi college showed enthusiastic participation during the event. The students from various faculties presented cultural and traditional performances to the audience.
Besides the traditional performances, the students had set up different educational stalls throughout the college premises for visitors. Ramesh Hamal, the event coordinator, said that the event was organized to uplift the Intellectual as well as the social skills of the students so that they can fit into the society with their knowledge.
Saru Khadka, a student enrolled in the BSW program said that these sort of events help the students to learn about event management, resource management, and social skills, so these events are an excellent boost for the students. Students were also glad to learn the management skills on hand rather than just reading about the skills in a book.
Samriddhi College offers four different courses for Bachelors, namely,
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Information technology (BSc. CSIT)
- Bachelor’s in computer application (BCA)
- Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS)
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
The college also provides international guest speakers from all around the world, including oral and written communication, public speaking, specialized IT, and business mentorship with extensive internship opportunities as well.
