Samsung Galaxy A41
The Samsung Galaxy A series has been quite popular among its mid-ranged shoppers over the past few years. The main focus of the A series has been to deliver a sharp display loaded with a quality camera and a very good battery life all at an affordable price tag. The Samsung Galaxy A41 is the most recent addition to the A family. The Galaxy A41 is quite compact with 150 mm height and 150 g weight and can easily fit in any pocket.
Overview
Just as Samsung’s advertisement for the A-series “Awesome screen. Awesome camera. Long-lasting battery life.”, the compact A41 has a 6.1 inch, almost bezel-less, super AMOLED display. Super AMOLED in a 30,000 price-ranged phone is a good deal! The screen has a resolution of 1080 * 2400 pixels.
It houses a triple camera with a 48 MP primary camera, 8 MP ultra-wide, and 5 MP depth sensor along with a 25 MP front camera. The picture quality you get is quite crisp and color accurate. Plus, you can capture 1080p videos at 30fps from both front and rear cameras. But the front camera notch is a bit weird coming into 2020 as it’s being reduced by almost all smartphone companies.
As for coast cutting, the A41 lacks in performance. The 4 GB RAM and MediaTek MT6768 Helio (12nm) chipset are acceptable for normal usage but when it comes to gaming and other heavy applications, it gives a mediocre performance. The competitors of A41 are certainly doing better in terms of performance.
Additionally, even though it is quite compact and thin, it houses a 3500mAH battery with a 15 W fast charging feature. The A41 can comfortably last up to 2 days with light usage and one whole day with heavy usage.
Since the A41 has a plastic body and frame, it lacks the premium touch and feels. But you can hardly tell by looking at the device or holding it in your hand. The optical in-display fingerprint scanner is quite slow at reading prints but the face unlock gets the job done and is probably better for that extra layer of security.
All in all, if you want a phone with long-lasting battery life and a good camera at a mid-range price, the Galaxy A41 is the perfect option for you.
