Samsung Electronics Singapore has unveiled its latest innovation in home cooling technology with the launch of the WindFree™ Air Conditioner series (Samsung’s New WindFree Multi-Split). These new additions to Samsung’s range of home appliances promise to redefine comfort and efficiency in sunny Singapore.

The WindFree™ Air Conditioner boasts a range of features designed to provide optimal cooling performance while ensuring maximum comfort for homeowners. Its unique WindFree™ Cooling mode gently disperses cool air through thousands of micro air holes, preventing the uncomfortable sensation of cold air from blowing directly onto the skin. This is particularly beneficial for individuals with sensitive or dry skin, as it helps maintain moisture levels and minimizes skin irritation.

Moreover, the AI Auto Cooling function analyzes room conditions, usage patterns, and preferred temperature settings to automatically switch between WindFree™ Cooling and Fast Cooling modes, ensuring a consistently comfortable environment tailored to the homeowner’s preferences.

In addition to providing unparalleled comfort, the WindFree™ Air Conditioner is also engineered for energy efficiency. Equipped with AI Energy Mode, the system intelligently adjusts compressor frequency and temperature levels based on usage patterns and external conditions, resulting in energy savings of up to 28%.

Furthermore, Samsung’s commitment to sustainability is evident in the WindFree™ Air Conditioner’s use of R32 climate-friendly refrigerant, which not only contributes to the conservation of the ozone layer but also minimizes its impact on global warming.

For added convenience, homeowners can monitor energy usage and control their WindFree™ Air Conditioner remotely using the Samsung SmartThings app. Voice control options via Samsung Bixby, Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa further enhance the user experience, allowing for seamless integration into smart home ecosystems.

Efficiency in Singapore Homes

Beyond comfort and efficiency, the WindFree™ Air Conditioner prioritizes cleanliness and hygiene. The Auto Clean function prevents the buildup of bacteria and odors by automatically drying the Heat Exchanger, while the 4-in-1 Filter effectively removes 99% of viruses, bacteria, allergens, and fine dust particles.

Complementing the WindFree™ Air Conditioner, Samsung is also introducing a range of Bespoke AI appliances designed to enhance connectivity and streamline household management. From refrigerators with AI Vision Inside to laundry combos equipped with AI Wash & Dry™ technology, these innovative appliances offer futuristic style and functionality.

With the launch of the WindFree™ Air Conditioner and the new Bespoke AI appliances, Samsung continues to push the boundaries of innovation in home appliances, delivering smarter, more connected solutions for modern living.

The WindFree™ Air Conditioners will be available in May 2024, with pricing starting at $2,920 for System 2 configurations. For more information, visit the Samsung website
