Sanima Bank Ltd and USAID Trade and Competitiveness Activity have signed a Letter of Cooperation with the goal of co-creating innovations which accelerate the implementation of broad-level sustainable solutions that enable the development and market access of various market actors.
This initiative is likely to strengthen the ability of targeted market actors to latch on to market opportunities presented by economic activities within Nepal and abroad.
USAID Trade and Competitiveness activity is a five-year-long project which aims to accelerate firm and sector-level competitiveness, generate employment opportunities, and increase sales of firms through interventions that incentivize public and private sector actors across the ecosystem.
This activity seeks to encourage the adoption of new behaviours among market actors towards realizing outcomes related to increased market access, productivity and employment creation, and an enabling environment through an improved investment climate.
Mr Nischal Raj Pandey, the CEO of Sanima Bank Ltd, mentioned that the cooperation would enable Sanima Bank to strengthen further its initiatives in better serving Micro, Small Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) through increased access to sustainable financial products and services.
Sanima Bank provides services from 130 offices and 123 ATM networks across all seven provinces.
