Sanima Bank and Axis Bank, India pact for Indo Nepal Remittance Services. Sanima Bank has signed an agreement with Axis Bank, India to provide remittance service. After the agreement, remittance sent from Axis Bank India can be received in 47 branches of Sanima Bank with more than 7000 agent locations all over Nepal. The service also provides account credit facility to Sanima Bank as well as any Bank Account of Nepal.

The said agreement was signed by Mr. SarojGuragain, Chief Financial Officer from Sanima Bank and Mr. Ashok Gautam, Head Financial Institutions Group of Axis Bank.

Sanima Bank remittance product Sanima Xpress currently offers domestic remittance and international remittance from UAE, Qatar, South Korea, U.K. and from worldwide with alliance of Xpress Money.Sanima Bank is also planning to expand remittance services from other countries as well. Under this agreement, Nepalese residing in India can send the money in easy and reliable way through Sanima Bank.

Sanima Bank started its operation from the year 2004 as a National Level Development Bank. However, since the year 2012, Sanima has been operating as an ‘A’ class commercial bank with its registered office at Alkapuri, Naxal, Kathmandu. The legendary comedy actors Mr. Haribhansa Acharya and Mr. Madan Krishna Shrestha jointly known as the MAHA Jodi, serve as the brand ambassador to the bank. Sanima Bank offers a variety of banking solutions and financial service to both corporate and retail customers in all seven provinces. The bank aims to be a leading bank of Nepal while being innovative and embracing changes to make their investors, staff, customers, and regulators be happy.
