The smart QR was introduced today by SmartChoice Technologies Limited. This type of fast-paced payment code platform Smart QR has been introduced to make online payments modern, simple, and compatible with the availability of different payment services and facilities.
In line with a strategy of encouraging financial transactions by promoting the cash-free transaction(Digital Payment) system of the Nepal Rastra Bank, it has been said that the system will provide world-class safe, and reliable services to many banks and financial institutions and to payment services providers.
The service has been launched in line with the company’s policy and commitment to contribute to the development of the country’s overall digital ecosystem. The main goal of the company is to develop and promote a modern digital payment system by upgrading the traditional system.
Using Smart QR will make it easier for the customer to quickly and simply scan the QR code and use the services and facilities as per the various requirements. In particular, banks and financial institutions and payment service providers affiliated with this Quick Response Code Payment Platform have been able to generate standard static or dynamic QR codes of EMV and facilitate integrated transactions between domestic and foreign QRC payment services.
Smart QR has a wide scope with local payment service providers’ collaboration and alliances such as IME Pay, Prabhu Pay, Q Pay, and the trade Union Pay International organization. Moreover, different providers of payment services, for example, Khalti, will also be able to accept payments through a Smart QR, affiliated to Mo-Bank Union Pay International.
