Samsung announced Samsung S7 edge smartphone on February 2016 that will be released on March 2016. This phone comes up with an Android OS v6.0 Marshmallow. This phone has a dimension of 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7 mm (5.94 x 2.86 x 0.30 in) having the thickness of 7.7 mm and weighs about 157 grams.
It uses a Single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) registered via Samsung Pay (Visa, MasterCard certified). This phone supports HPSA/ GSM / LTE network configurations. This phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass back panel and is IP 68 certified phone that is water and dust proof over 1.5 meters and 30 minutes.
The display is of 16 M colors and has Super AMOLED capacities touchscreen. The screen resolution is 1440 x 2560 pixels which are precisely 534 PPI pixel density. It supports multi-touch and comes up with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection with Touch Wiz UI and comes with a curved screen just like Samsung Galaxy S6 edge technology.
It has got Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 Octa chipsets, and CPU comprises of Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo and Quad-core 2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 + quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53 processors. The GPU used is MAdreno 530 and Mali-T880 MP12. The internal memory available is 32/ 64 GB, and it contains 4 GB RAM. It contains micro SD up gradable up to 200 GB (dedicated slot) on a single SIM model and up to 200 GB (that uses SIM 2 slot) on a dual SIM model.
