Spiralogics Institute of Technology Conducted Agile Workshop

Spiralogics Institute of Technology held a successful workshop on “Agile Methodology” on 28th of June, 2017. The workshop was focused on simulated learning about one of the well-known practices in software development community. The audience comprised of about 80 students from different engineering colleges throughout the valley.

The workshop began with a welcome speech by Mrs. Anukha Wagley, Operations Manager of Spiralogics International. Mr. Arun Thapa, Technical Manager Of Spiralogics International then highlighted the journey of Spiralogics and how it had evolved throughout the years. The workshop was then preceded by Mr. Shree Dimna Prajapati, the QA Lead of Spiralogics International. He gave a thorough and informative presentation on Agile Methodology, detailing how the company had has been working with the methodology and how effective it has been.

The workshop had a section where a group of developers from Spiralogics came up with a team to show how the company has been using the agile methodology in real time. The team of veteran professionals from Spiralogics simulated the in-depth process of Agile methodology. Saunak Ranjitkar, CTO of Spiralogics, started with the topic on how the Nepalese youths of today are facing problems meeting the expectations of current IT community. He introduced how SIT(Spiralogics Institute of Technology) came into existence. He stated and assured that SIT would be a great help and a bridge to mitigate the gap that exists between the academia and the industry.

The workshop was officially concluded by Mr. Krishna Prasad Upadhyaya, managing director of Spiralogics, with some insights on Nepalese youths migration and its impact on the country’s economy.
