Spotify Is Testing A Voice Search Feature And It Is Excellent And It Is Excellent

Spotify is a music podcast and a video streaming service. And it was launched on October 7, 2008. Spotify AB developed near in Stockholm, Sweden. Spotify is also available in most of Europe, the Americas and some eastern parts of Asia. It is available on many more devices that include windows, macOS and Linux computers. Likewise, it is also possible with iOS and to the android phones too. Here one can search the music based on the artist name, album, playlist. Same as users can edit, share along with the other users. It also provides access to more than 30 million songs. Which has about 140 million monthly active users? An estimated 70 million paying subscribers.

Spotify pays royalties

As we know that Spotify pays fees to the artist as per the number of the songs of that artist gets streamed. And even with the download sales. The company distributes about 70% of the total revenue to the holders based on the general agreement. Later, the company has also announced that any users can release their albums using this platform. When they have a premium account and having as a part of Universal Music Group. Spotify gets listed on the New York Stock Exchange on February 28, 2018. Now the company is testing its assistant which will avoid the dependency over Siri and Alexa.

The voice recognition for the Spotify users allows them to search and listen to the music using the voice commands. Controlling the music search through the voice commands saves the invaluable time for the users. Further, Spotify voice also runs as a background service. And is one can listen to their wished list while using other apps or even when the phone is in sleep mode. To run this first one should also log in to the Spotify account and then open Spotify voice. Then prompt the app saying “music player” by tapping onto the screen. Till then wait for the beep and command the app to “play the song name/band name/artist name/album name.” Besides these many other commands can also use for controlling the volumes, to stop, resume and skip the songs too. It is incredible that using Spotify one can take control over the music lying on their phones, tablets, etc.

Google Assistant supported devices

In conclusion, It is not necessary to use Spotify voice commands now. Because all those commands generated now work under Google Assistant supported devices. Google announced that those Spotify voice commands would endorse on to the Google Assistant. Few tips should be taken into consideration while using Spotify on Google Assistant. First, we need to link our Spotify account to the google assistant. And we need to set Spotify as our default music service. Then ask Google Assistant so to play the music using various voice commands like

· “OK Google, play Spotify.”

· “OK Google, play Chris brown playlist.”
