The ‘Startup and Idea Fest’ program is going to be organized on the 18th and 19th of Kartik.
More than 40 startups outside Kathmandu and more than 100 startups, products, and innovations, including the best 12 selected for the competition of ICT Award 2022, will participate in the fest.
Earlier, it selected more than 40 startups and ideas from outside Kathmandu by organizing the fest in all seven provinces.
In this fest, new technologies and innovations developed by various organizations, robots, drones, and rocket science equipment will also be on display. Innovative ideas and projects from local startups and students will be showcased. With the help of an expert selection committee, participants will present their ideas or projects.
They will also have the opportunity to participate in mentoring sessions with successful IT entrepreneurs from the local and central regions. Participants will also participate in the presentation and speed dating session on the same day to be selected for the best 5.
King’s College will conduct a three-day Bootcamp for more than 40 startup and idea founders who will participate from outside Kathmandu.
The top 12 startups, products, and rising star innovations selected from the ICT Awards 2022 competition will also participate in the fest. They will also have the facility of direct voting by observers.
Apart from this, the organizers have informed if there are other good innovations, they can also participate.
