Startup Summit Nepal 2026 Kicks Off to Promote Entrepreneurship and Innovation
7th August 2026, Kathmandu
With the primary objective of promoting a culture of entrepreneurship, innovation, a self-reliant economy, and job creation in Nepal, the Startup Summit Nepal 2026 has been officially launched.
The national campaign commenced with a special program held at the Central Library Hall of Tribhuvan University under the central theme, “The Role of Startups in Nation Building.”
Transforming “Brain Drain” into “Brain Gain”
Globally, economic prosperity in developed nations is anchored in innovation, research, technology, and startups. Many of the world’s most successful companies began with a simple idea, small capital, and the grand dreams of young individuals, eventually creating millions of jobs and strengthening national economies.
Adopted to mirror this global experience, Startup Summit Nepal 2026 aims to transform the rising trend of brain drain into “brain gain” by channeling the creativity, knowledge, skills, and potential of youth within the country. The campaign provides practical and fact-based insights into:
-
Startup and business registration processes
-
Business plan creation and startup loans
-
Investment management and market expansion
-
Operational challenges, risk management, and market potential (both national and international)
