SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Dividend and Share Dematerialization Notice
11th September 2026, Kathmandu
SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Limited has issued an urgent notification calling upon its eligible shareholders to collect outstanding cash dividends, physical bonus share certificates, and rights share certificates distributed in previous fiscal years.
SuryaJyoti Life Share Dematerialization
The company has highlighted that several shareholders have not yet received their cash dividends. Complete details regarding such unpaid dividends along with specific non-distribution reasons are published on the official platform of the share registrar, NIC Asia Capital Limited. Shareholders are advised to verify their details and complete the necessary steps to claim their pending funds without delay.
Requirement for Dematerialization of Physical Shares
Shareholders holding physical bonus or rights share certificates must immediately convert them into electronic or Demat format. Cash dividends will be transferred directly to bank accounts only after the physical shares have been successfully dematerialized into the respective beneficiary account.
Shareholders should visit their respective Depository Participant where their Demat account is hosted to submit physical share certificates for dematerialization and to complete record updates.
Updating Bank Account and Beneficiary Details
To ensure seamless electronic transfer of dividends, shareholders must link an active bank account to their Demat account. The bank account must be maintained at a bank or financial institution holding IPS membership under Nepal Clearing House Limited.
Action is specifically required for the following cases:
- Shareholders who have not yet linked their bank account details with their Depository Participant.
- Shareholders whose bank account numbers or branch details have changed due to recent mergers and acquisitions among banks or financial institutions.
In both scenarios, shareholders must immediately contact their Depository Participant to update their beneficiary account records.
Conditions for Pledged Shares
Shareholders who pledged their shares as collateral for loans during the company book closure period are subject to specific requirements. Their cash dividends will be released and deposited into their designated bank account only after a formal No Objection Letter or share release letter is obtained from the respective lending financial institution.
SuryaJyoti Life Insurance urges all remaining shareholders to complete their Demat updates, bank record validations, and necessary documentation promptly to avoid further delay in receiving their dues.
