Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited Contributes Essential Relief Supplies to Flood-Affected

Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has provided essential relief supplies to flood-affected residents of Ward No. 3 in Bidur Municipality, Nuwakot, following the catastrophic Bhotekoshi River flood of Bhadra 10, 2083.
Swabalamban Laghubitta Flood Relief Contribution
The relief operation was conducted on Bhadra 17 for 141 individuals residing in isolated riverside areas across the river, who were cut off from rescue and relief efforts due to severe road damage.
Tragically, two employees attached to the Betrawati branch office remain missing following the disaster. Search and rescue operations continue, but their status is currently unknown. Despite the heavy emotional weight on the institution, Swabalamban Laghubitta moved forward with the relief distribution under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
The distribution event took place in the presence of Indra Prasad Adhikari, Acting Ward Chairperson of Bidur Municipality Ward No. 3. Relief was allocated based on impact, dividing recipients into “severely affected” and “affected” categories.

- 25 kg rice
- 2 kg lentils
- 2 kg beaten rice (chiura)
- 1 liter cooking oil
- 1 kg salt
- 1 bar soap
For affected families/individuals (per recipient):
- 12.5 kg rice
- 1 kg lentils
- 1 kg beaten rice (chiura)
- 0.5 liter cooking oil
- 1 kg salt
- 0.5 bar soap

- Rice: 100 sacks
- Lentils: 200 kg
- Cooking Oil: 100 liters
- Beaten Rice (chiura): 200 kg
