Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has commenced integrated financial operations on September 6 (Bhadra 21) following the complete acquisition of Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited.

Regulatory Approval and Asset Absorption
Final Approvals Secured: The acquisition process received statutory and final operational authorizations from Nepal Rastra Bank, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), and the Office of the Company Registrar.
Absorption of Liabilities: Under the formal acquisition terms, Swarojgar Laghubitta assumes full responsibility for all existing assets, current liabilities, and potential contingent liabilities of Wean Nepal Laghubitta up to the conclusion of its individual operations.
Entities Operating Name: Post-acquisition, integrated microfinance business operations continue under the consolidated corporate name of Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited.
Temporary Service Suspension and Head Office Location
One-Day Service Interruption: To facilitate system integration across both financial platforms, all banking and financial services of Swarojgar Laghubitta and Wean Nepal Laghubitta remained suspended for one day on Sunday, Bhadra 21.
Stakeholder Advisory: Management issued formal notices to account holders, corporate members, equity shareholders, regulatory bodies, and general stakeholders regarding the one-day operational closure.
