Now, Bank of Kathmandu Limited has expanded its QR code service to British College, Kathmandu. Students and parents studying in British colleges can easily pay their college bills by scanning the QR code of this bank through mobile banking.

Bank of Kathmandu Limited has been launching QR code services by selecting strategically important locations for digital transactions while promoting digital transactions.

In this context, the Bank has managed Pashupatinath Temple Complex, Kalimati Fruit and Vegetable Market Development Committee, Machhapokhari Vegetable Market, Eastern Nepal Transport, Kankai Mai Pathibhara Transport and long and short distance buses, food stores and shops, hotels and restaurants operated by Super Public Service Transport Committee. with QR code. PCPS College Offers Microdegree Program in AI in Partnership

PCPS College Offers a Microdegree program in AI in Partnership with Fusemachines Nepal. Patan College for Professional Studies, a renowned business and IT college in Nepal in affiliation to LBEF, has partnered with Fusemachines Nepal, an artificial intelligence talent and education solutions company to offer Microdegree Program in Artificial Intelligence.

The college will offer an extra Microdegree degree with their undergrad program, B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science and Software Engineering degree.

The partnership commenced with the objective to provide AI career progression opportunities to young and innovative minds and fulfill the global AI talent demand-supply gap. The demand for AI skilled manpower is surging year after year.

Statistics show that between 2015 and 2019, there has been almost a 100% increase in job postings with AI or Machine Learning tags. According to NASSCOM by the year 2023 demand for digitally skilled manpower will rise up to 2.7 million.

There’s a worldwide shortage of AI talent, and developing countries like Nepal lag way behind in its education and adoption. This highlights how we need to conduct extensive training programs from schools and colleges level and catch up with the global AI adoption.
