Tribhuvan University 52nd Convocation
Tribhuvan University (TU) has officially opened online applications for eligible graduates wishing to participate in its 52nd Convocation Ceremony. To make the process more accessible, TU has decentralized the event by establishing participation centers across all seven provinces of Nepal for the first time.
Key Dates & Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility: Students who passed their Bachelor’s, Master’s, or M.Phil. levels and obtained their transcripts between June 15, 2025 (1 Ashar 2082), and May 14, 2026 (31 Jestha 2083), along with Ph.D. graduates from the same period.
Application Period: Online applications can be submitted from September 17 to October 29 (Ashoj 1 to Kartik 12).
Provincial Centers & Special Provisions
Applicants must select their preferred venue among the designated centers across Bagmati, Koshi, Madhesh, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces while filling out the online form.
Special Note: M.Phil., Ph.D., gold medalists, and top-ranking students will attend the central ceremony designated for the Bagmati Province center.
Fee Structure & Deposit Details
The convocation and certificate fees vary by academic level:
Bachelor’s Level: NPR 3,000
Master’s & M.Phil. Level: NPR 3,500
Ph.D. Level: NPR 4,000
Gown & Scarf Deposit: NPR 2,500 for all levels (NPR 500 will be deducted as maintenance cost, and the remaining amount will be refunded to the student’s bank account).
Guardian Fee: Students can bring up to two guardians, with a non-refundable fee of NPR 400 per guardian.
Certificate Folder: An optional extra fee of NPR 500 applies for obtaining the official TU-logo-embossed certificate folder.
Payment Mode
All convocation-related fees must be paid exclusively through online banking via Nepal Bank or Global IME Bank.
