vivo, the leading global smartphone brand, collaborated with KGH Group of Hotels and Resorts as a smartphone partner for the recently held Amazing Motor Rally 2021 at the Waterfront resort.
This 8thedition of the event series continued for 3 days and 2 nights, started from the Nepal Tourism Board, Kathmandu on 12th Feb ’21 and concluded at Basundhar Chowk, Pokhara on 14th Feb’ 21. Organized in association with Jyoti Cares and Rotary Club of Bagmati, the event aimed to spread public awareness about cervical cancer in the country and promote the Nepal Tourism Board with slogans such as “देशदर्शन” and “पहिले देश अनि विदेश”.
As part of the competition, the rally hosted several fun activities such as solving riddles, Vivo crossword puzzles, scavenger hunts, and posting pictures and videos of certain activities on Facebook. Since the theme of the event was “End Cervical Cancer in Nepal”, the participants were also required to distribute posters and pamphlets in several locations to spread awareness about the cause. The rally also stopped at 7 exciting checkpoints, including Hamlet, Baireni, Siddhartha Riverside Resort, Chumglingtaar, Damauli and Santi Stupa, Pokhara, among others. The participants were asked to follow all traffic rules and not exceed the speed limit of 85kmph, thus ensuring safe driving measures.

The Motor Rally concluded at the Waterfront Resort, where prizes were distributed to the winners during the closing ceremony that was also attended by renowned actor Rajesh Hamal, and popular local celebrities such as Namrata Shrestha- Miss Nepal World 2020, Supriya Shrestha- Miss Nepal Earth 2020, Shimal Kanaujiya- Miss Nepal Supranational 2020, Sandhya Sharma- Miss Nepal International 2020, Riya Shrestha- Miss Tourism 2020, Riya Basnet- Miss Earth Nepal, Meera Kakshapati- Miss International Nepal 2019.
In addition to the above, students of Sanata Secondary High School, Pame also received sporting kits and school bags as part of a joint CSR initiative undertaken by Vivo Nepal and Jyoti Life Insurance.
