Design
Borrowing looks from its older cousin, Volkswagen Tiguan Allpace, Volkswagen Taigun SUV is here to offer some spectacular looks in the mid-range segment. However, the Taigun is sure to get some cuts as it enters the Indian and Nepalese market. The model unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020 is a concept version it will face cuts as a price-reducing measure to compete with other SUVs in its segment. Despite the changes that are to come, we can expect a stunning SUV with premium, top-notch fit, and finish.
Performance
At its core, The Volkswagen Taigun runs on a 1.5L Turbocharged Stratified Injected (TSI) Petrol Engine that generates a max power of 148bhp and a max torque of 250Nm. Volkswagen offers a manual transmission and a 7-speed Direct-shift gearbox (DSG) with the Taigun. The SUV only gets an FWD option and does not get an option to upgrade over to a diesel engine.
