What is IT Meet 2018 ? KUCC

IT MEET is an annual event organized by Kathmandu University Computer Club (KUCC) of Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel Kavre. This is the 7th version of “IT MEET”, and is scheduled for 5th and 6th of January 2018 at IT Park Kavre. IT MEET is a grand event where visitors will have option to visit stalls, take part in competitions and attend seminars and workshops related to Information Communication and Technology (ICT). Since this is a technological event, our main target audience includes Tech Students, Tech Enthusiasts, Professional Developers and Software Engineers, Startup Enthusiasts and Industry Experts, People from Governmental Sectors, High School Students, and General public etc.

Some of the highlights of this two-day event are:

  1. Career Fair: Career fair will consist of booths where the visitors will be able to meet and interact with some top and emerging IT companies from Nepal directly. The students looking for internships and jobs will also be able to drop their CVs at any available booth.
  2. Meetups: IT personnel and experts with the same interest will have the platform to meet with each other and share their ideas about the latest trends in technology and more. Some of the expected meetups are: Python Meetup and Virtual Reality Meetups

3.Competitions: The event will also feature several competitions like Coding Competition, Hackathon, NepHack, Design Competition, Photography Competition, IT Quiz, Gaming Competitions and more.

  1. Project Demonstrations: There will also be project demonstrations in the event. Visitors will be able to see different projects created by undergraduate students.
