Who is Binod? How it all started?

An Indian youtube channel ‘Slayy Point’ made a video in which they decided to look into the comment sections of their videos. We are all very aware of the fact that sometimes the comment section is more entertaining than the video itself!

So, the creators went through the comment section and found out a range of strange comments. Among them was this comment ‘BINOD’ made by a user named Binod Tharu. They shared this particular video on July 15. What’s next? The video became the newest sensation in the town. People got obsessed with the name and started trending it on twitter and every possible social site.

The biggest of companies like PayTm, Tinder, Airtel, Indian Police, and others embraced the trend and made full utilization. Consequently, Nepal was not insular to the trend. Various meme channels and pages made sure they jumped into it.

Meanwhile, there was a section of people who weren’t happy with the trend. They were concerned with how the social media trend has gotten worse. They also lashed ‘immature’ young people for starting the bizarre trend!

It’s strange how the simplest of things can trend in today’s time. People just need to find their humor in it. That’s the power of social media. If you go to twitter, you will sometimes see the strangest of things trending.

Meanwhile, did you find this trend funny or did it not affect you at all? Let us know in the comments.
