Toshiba introduced the new Chromebook 2 laptop that comes with Google Chrome OS. It has got a solid and sleek in laptop design and high-performance technology. It has the dimension of 12.6 x 8.4 x 0.8 in and weighs about 2.9lbs which is pretty much light.
The screen is 13.3″ LED backlight technology with 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution with 239 PPI 400 nits and 16:9 aspect ratio that comes with Trubrite. The screen Multi-touch clickable glass trackpad and has a 178° extra-wide viewing angle. The humidity range of operation is 20 – 90% (non-condensing).
The processor used is 2.16 GHz Intel dual-core Celeron N2840 processor and the maximum turbo Speed is 2.58 with 1 GB cache. The RAM available is Serial ATA-300 4 GB (soldered) DDR3L SDRAM with the speed of 1600 Mhz. The graphics available in this laptop is Intel® HD Graphics. The ports open in this device are a card reader(SD card/SDHC/SDXC card reader), Headphone/microphone combo jack, USB 3.0, HDMI and USB 2.0 ports.
The sound feature present is Skullcandy certified Stereo speakers with two microphones. The networking and WLAN technology available are Wi-fi certified Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260, Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and 2.4 and while the Bluetooth technology used is Bluetooth v4.0. It has a 720P HD integrated webcam.
The datalink protocols are Bluetooth 4.0, IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, and IEEE 802.11n. The minimum operating principle is 41°F and the maximum operating principle 95°F. The software also consists of Google Drive that includes 100 GB Cloud Storage free for two years.
The security lock slot is present with cable lock sold separately. The battery used is three cells 44Wh lithium Po battery with Up to 9 hours of battery life. The colors available are black keyboard textured resin in silver tone. The laptop and laptop accessories come up with a 1-year limited warranty. This Chromebook costs about £249, i.e., approximately 39000 NRs.
