Yamaha YZF-R6 available in Nepal

Yamaha’s legendary motorcycle ‘YZF-R6’ has started selling in Nepal. MAW Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. is the authorized distributor of Yamaha in Nepal. MAW has started selling new motorcycles in the ‘Big Bike’ segment.

In the global market, Yamaha is one of the popular brands in the mid-size sports motorcycle segment. It is a Japanese motorcycle brand.

The Yamaha YZF-R6 is an aerodynamically designed motorcycle with an aggressive look. The company has been building sports motorcycles in the R series.

Features of Yamaha YZF-R6

YZF-R6 has advanced dual-LED piston lights in a radical R series design. It includes features like:

  • 43mm front differential,
  • 17-liter aluminum fuel tank,
  • double disc brakes, and
  • ABS system.

It has a 599cc parallel 4-cylinder, 4 strokes, DOHC 4 valve liquid-cooled FI BS6 engine. The engine generates 118.4 PS of power at 14,500 rpm and 61.7 Nm of torque at 10,500 rpm. YZF-R6 is fitted with a 6-speed gearbox and a quick shifter.

This Yamaha model can run at a speed of 262 kilometers per hour. It contains a 17-liter fuel tank. The company claims that this motorcycle has a mileage of 15 kilometers per liter. Yamaha YZF-R6 is 190kg heavy, and its ground clearance is 130 mm.

Color and Price

It is available in two colors in Nepal. The customer can choose between Midnight Black and Icon Blue.

YZF-R6 has become the most expensive motorcycle in the Nepali market. The Yamaha YZF-R6 is priced at 39 lakh 99 thousand (3.99 million).
