Virtual Panel Discussion Nepal

Hult Prize at Kathmandu University and Team NEPO Kavrepalanchowk are organizing a panel discussion titled “Youth, Society, and Entrepreneurs” on 17th October 2020, Saturday. This panel discussion will hold a conversation regarding entrepreneurs’ conditions in Nepal and the social impacts entrepreneurs can bring about in society. The role youths can play in the field of entrepreneurship and how the society and local governments influence in shaping young entrepreneurs will also be a topic of discussion. 
Through this event, the participants will be able to get an insight into the values and qualities that the entrepreneurs must have to successfully operate their business, as well as the ability to identify real problems and the effective ways to overcome them. Participants will also get to understand how social entrepreneurship works and how it helps towards community development. Most importantly, the panel discussion will also touch down on the topics of local government policies for entrepreneurial development.

i. Mr. Ashok Kumar Byanju: Mayor of Dhulikhel Municipality, President of Mayor Association Nepal and Vice President of United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific.
ii. Asst. Prof Hari Gopal Risal: Coordinator of Research Degree Programme (Ph.D. and M.Phil.) at Kathmandu University School of Management.
iii. Mr. Kavi Raj Joshi: Founder and Managing Director at Next Venture Corp
iv. Mrs. Sumena Karki: Founder and CEO, Rara BioTech, ‘Best Startup World Innovation Forum’-2018
