Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli recently informed the on-going process to make the land tenant management system more technologically advanced for the general public.

Oli talked about the digitalization process while speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a representative and revenue office at Kalanki, Kathmandu. He told us that the government is trying to use better technologies to develop services for the public so that the natural and convenient services can benefit them.

Prime Minister Oli added, “The technology-friendly environment is not going to be limited to the Land Revenue Department. We will extend the technologies to the education and health sector to provide easy, convenient, and qualitative services to the citizens.”

He assured that within two years, all the databases and files currently in use at the land revenue department would be digitalized. He also shed light on the fact that technologically operated services can provide higher efficiency from a smaller number of people, increase the product and productivity, and make the service more transparent to the general public.

KP Oli also said, “Technology plays a huge role to boost Nepal towards modernization. To achieve our goal of having prospered Nepal under the slogan Samriddha Nepal, Sukhi Nepali, the use of technology is a must.”
