Global IME Bank Limited Contributes NPR 50 Million to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund

Global IME Bank Limited has announced financial assistance of NPR 50 million to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
Global IME Flood Contribution
The help is expected to support search, rescue, immediate relief, and long term rehabilitation efforts following catastrophic flash floods in the Bhote Koshi River.
Disaster Impact across Affected Districts
Severe Inundation and Erosion: Devastating floodwaters swept across riverbank settlements in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and Chitwan, causing loss of life and property.
Loss of Life and Displacement: The flood currents killed hundreds, left many missing, and displaced hundreds of families by destroying homes, roads, bridges, and hydropower facilities.
CSR Initiatives and Relief Objectives
Core Relief Purpose: Provided under the bank Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, the funds are dedicated to finding missing persons, supporting medical care for the injured, supplying food and shelter, and restoring damaged infrastructure.
Track Record in Disaster Response: Global IME Bank has consistently provided financial and material support during past national crises, including floods, landslides, earthquakes, and health emergencies.
