In the past six years, Apple has bought around 100 companies, according to Tim Cook, Chief Executive Officer of the company.

At the Apple Shareholders’ Meeting on Tuesday, he said the company would acquire new companies every three to four weeks. He argued that acquisitions were made in order to obtain technologies and talented resources.

Apple’s largest acquisition in the last decade is the $3 billion acquisition of Bits Electronics, a headphone manufacturer founded by rapper and producer Dr. Dray.

Another high-profile acquisition in 2018 was the $400 million Shazam software company.

In general, Apple has taken over the ownership of small technology companies and has used its inventions in its products and services.

An example of this is PrimeSense, an Israeli 3D sensing company whose technology Apple has used in its FaceID.

Apple has invested heavily in back-end technology.

In the meantime, Apple has the highest quarterly earnings ever. In the first quarter of 2021, it received $111.4 billion.

Looking at the list of Apple’s acquisitions, it looks really diverse. Over the last few years, a variety of payment startups and podcast companies have acquired from AI to the virtual reality event market.

He bought Drive AI, an automated car company, in 2019. He worked to improve his automated technology.

In 2016, the company bought a $1 billion stake in DD Chuksink, a Chinese ride-sharing service.

In reality, Apple is a strong non-profit organization with a net valuation of more than $2 trillion. So he’s got enough money to buy businesses.

Even though it has bought hundreds of businesses over the last six years, Apple is very patient and cautious about what to purchase.

Tesla founder Elon Musk, for example, recently said that he had offered to buy Tim Cook in 2013 when the company was struggling. But then Tim Cook rejected his offer.

But no matter how many companies Apple buys, its acquisition value is smaller than that of its rivals.

Microsoft has invested $26 billion to acquire LinkedIn. Amazon purchased wholesale food for $13.7 billion and Facebook bought WhatsApp for $19 billion.

But the value of Apple’s 10 biggest acquisitions is less than the value of single acquisition of those rivals.
