NIC ASIA Bank was founded as Nepal Industrial and Commercial Bank on 21 July 1998.

It was renamed NIC ASIA Bank on 30 June 2013 after it merged with Bank of Asian Nepal’s first merger of two commercial banks in its history.

NIC ASIA Bank is now, one of the largest private-sector commercial banks in Nepal in terms of the capital base, number of branches, ATM network & customer.

NIC Asia Bank has made it easy for its customers to apply for a new card online if their debit card is lost or damaged.

With this facility, customers will be able to use this facility easily from any place and at any time through the bank’s iServe digital platform.

For this, the bank makes an arrangement to request a new card instead of the lost or damaged card through debit card replacement by tapping on the card service within iServe through the bank’s website and mobile banking app.

The customer will have to mention their name, account number, and mobile number by tapping on Debit Card Replacement. Immediately after that, you have to verify the OTP received by the customer in the mobile number registered in your bank.

After the verification, the customer will be able to proceed by choosing the branch to go to get the card.

After the application is successful, the bank will inform the account holder via SMS and after the card is ready, the bank will again inform the customer to get the debit card from the selected branch through SMS.

The bank believes that this online facility will save customers time in reaching the bank and will also help in today’s urgent need to maintain physical distance during the Kovid-19 epidemic.
