BG Holdings Acquires Gyapu Marketplace

Gyapu Marketplace Pvt. Ltd has been purchased by BG Holdings. Gyapu, which was established during the lockdown as an online shopping platform, was recently acquired by BG Holdings.

Along with this, Gyanendra Khadka, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Gyapu, has left his post. In addition, BG Holdings has appointed Gyapu’s operations head, Sujani KC, as acting CEO.

Gyapu has been delivering various household items, groceries, beauty, fashion, and health-related items across the country.

 Currently, Gyapu has more than 3500 vendors, more than 400,000 products are available, and more than 215,000 customers are registered and using the service, the company said.

The e-commerce platform was built by Nepali Entrepreneurs to build the Nepali Global Brand and promote domestic Nepali products in Nepal and throughout the globe.
