SAARC stands united against Coronavirus

While the world is suffering from Coronavirus COVID-19, South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries have also been affected. A total of 83 deaths and 4,110 infected has been reported.

India is the most populated country in SAARC. Coronavirus has shown dire results in India. 45 people died of coronavirus with 1637 tested positive. 148 have recovered.

Pakistan seems to be the worst affected country after India with 26 deaths. It has reported the highest number of infected people in South Asia. Out of 2071 infected, 82 have recovered.

Bangladesh is in third place with 6 deaths. Currently, there are 54 confirmed cases of coronavirus with 25 recoveries.

Afghanistan has a total number of 196 confirmed cases of COVID-10. There are 5 recovery cases and 4 fatality cases from the country.

Sri Lanka reported 143 cases. Among the total cases, 18 have recovered with 2 deaths due to COVID-19.

Talking about Nepal and Bhutan, there are no deaths due to COVID-19. But there are still 4 active cases in both of the countries. 1 case from Nepal had already recovered.
