CSIT Association is a non-profitable, non-governmental, non-political social organization. It was established in 2011 by the young, energetic students persuading their career in the BScCSIT course.
The association’s main aim is to be a bridge between the faculty students and the IT industries in Nepal.
CSIT Association of Nepal is going to organize Provathan from Ashad 12. Provathan is a month-long national-level hackathon. Because of Covid, CSIT is planning to host a virtual event.
This program is being organized to increase the level of innovative ideas and innovation. The theme of Provathan 2021 is ‘Let Your Code Witness the Change’.’ Probhatan’s focus is on how to reduce the impact of covid in education, health, and employment. The main objective of Provathon is to generate business ideas and products by utilizing the latest technology. In addition, to inspire and promote creativity.
To participate in the program, participants will be able to participate in a hackathon from their area. For this, first of all, you have to register your idea by filling the form issued by the CSIT Association of Nepal.
Based on the same idea, the regional committees of each region take the top 10 teams to the next round for competition.
Two teams are selected from each region’s hackathon, and the top two teams from all regions will compete for the best in the final round.
To participate in this program, a team must have at least three members and a maximum of four members. Participants’ ideas should be innovative. Participating members will be from both technical and non-technical fields.
According to the organizers, the competition will be judged based on code evaluation, completion of the project, and presentation.

Eligibility for participating in the Provathon:
– The candidate must be a student.
– The idea must be innovative. (no plagiarism allowed)
– The participating team must have at least three and at most four members.
