Economist Swarnim Wagle Says, Little Enthusiasm Public For the Election

Swarnim Wagle, the former vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission and an economist, has cast his vote for the House of Representatives election.

Wagle went to Shree Rameshwari Secondary School in Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality of Gorkha and voted.

He updated his status on the social network Facebook and shared his opinions on the election. He wrote,” I have been participating or interested in the elections for the past 10 years. This time there was very little enthusiasm in the public.”

The status followed,” There is disgust. Assessment of different results than a straight coalition. Will we reach a new point that compels us to improve politics?”
