Esewa Money Transfer, which has been prioritizing digital remittances since its inception, has also been honored by the Nepal Rastra Bank for its significant contribution to facilitating remittances during the financial year 2079/80.

Speaking during the occasion of its fourth operational anniversary, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr. Ajesh Koirala said, “We are very happy and excited that Esewa Money Transfer has become the first choice for Nepalese residing abroad. This achievement is attributed to our commitment to delivering easy, fast, and reliable services. I extend heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed partners, dedicated employees, trusted agents, customers, and well-wishers who have contributed to our journey.” Mr. Koirala added we have initiated the ‘Mero Digital Desh’ initiative in which one lucky winner will get a chance to win a brand-new home in Kathmandu once again. Additionally, the company aims to gradually expand its remittance services and introduce more value-added services and products to Nepalese living across the world by collaborating with more international partners and bringing joy to all remitters and their family members.

The company has unveiled the grand prize for the winner of the campaign – a two-and-a-half-storied house built on an area of around 1026.75 sq. ft. in Imadol, Bojepokhari, Ward No. 4, Mahalakshmi Municipality, Lalitpur. Also, considering the active participation of the customers, the company has decided to extend this scheme for 2 more months till 20th May 2023. Customers will be automatically enrolled in the scheme when they send money through eSewa Money Transfer during this period.

According to Ajesh Koirala, Chief Executive Officer of the company, the campaign has been extended by two months to encourage greater participation from Nepali people living abroad and to offer more opportunities for customers to win. The decision to extend the campaign was made after considering the overwhelmingly positive response from the Nepali community living abroad. We hope that this extension will allow more and more Nepalis to participate and increase their chances of winning their dream in Kathmandu.
