Various petrol pumps under the Dhaulagiri Petroleum Dealer Association that are being operated in different districts have started electronic payment system with the use of “IME Pay.”
IME Group’s Public Relationship Manager, Raju Poudel representing IME pay and the head of Dhaulagiri Petroleum Dealer Association, RajanGongaju have signed on the agreement papers to make the contract legal between the two parties.
In a recent program held to release this news, Poudel mentioned that customers dealing with 54 petrol pumps under their association are going to be benefited by this service. Gongaju expressed his happiness regarding the co-operation with “IME Pay” that enables the user to pay their fuel cost electronically.
This can prove to be a brave step in a country like Nepal. With growing digital economy around the world, this step can be a platform for other similar doors to open. Paying utility bills digitally has been a great way to use technology efficiently. So, the use of IME Pay to digitally pay one’s fuel will undoubtedly have significant influence in the digital market on Nepal.
