Honda Launches Hornet 2.0 with First-In-Segment Features and Enters the 200cc Club

Honda launches its all-new Honda Hornet 2.0 in India to mark its twenty years of presence in the Indian market! The new Hornet 2.0 is a 184.40cc engine motorbike- an upgrade to its previous predecessor. With the Hornet 2.0, Honda is all set to rival the 200cc favorite TVS Apache RTR 200 and Bajaj Pulsar NS200.

The Honda Hornet 2.0 price in Nepal is expected to be Rs 3,60,000. Its release price in India is Rs 1,27,000.

Let’s look at some of the features that make Hornet 2.0 in Nepal a bike to own!

Features

At first glance, you’ll notice the first-in-segment upside-down forks that make this an already desirable streetfighter. It also features an all-digital blue backlit instrument console with 5 level brightness!

Hornet 2.0 goes into a full-on LED lighting system with its LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, and LED indicators! (First in the segment as well). A 12-liter muscular fuel tank, a single-channel ABS, and the compact muffler all add to its edgy designs!

And finally, Honda gives Hornet 2.0 the “Engine Kill Switch” that all the Honda Hornet riders have been wanting for so long! Furthermore, it comes with a hazard switch, battery voltmeter, and a clock!

Hornet 2.0 powers with a BS6 compliant 184.40cc, 4 strokes, air-cooled Fi engine! With a 5 speed gearbox, it can generate a max power of 17.26 PS at 8500 rpm and a max torque of 16.1 Nm at 6000 rpm!

Weighing at 142 kg with a comfortable riding position, this naked performer delivers a sweet riding experience! Not to mention, Honda is confident that their Hornet 2.0 has a class-leading mid-range torque and performance!
