A new ride-sharing platform called Jau Guru has been launched. On Sunday, ‘Jau Guru’ was formally inaugurated in a program organized at Hotel Radisson in Kathmandu.

The company is jointly invested by three young people, Indrahang Lingden, Khushi Limbu, and Diwakar Aryal. Indrahang Lingden, the president of Jau Guru, a company that facilitates daily travel, informed.

Lingden says that the service is available only in Kathmandu Valley and will be extended to Mofasal in the future. The Jau Guru app has features such as location sharing, GPS tracking, a wallet for payment and other online payment systems, and 24-hour call center service.

Motorcycle and taxi riders are associated with this organization app and there is no charge even when they pick up passengers, easy registration by riders for drivers, insurance for riders and passengers, and provision of commission for referrals by riders or anyone else. 100 of Nepal Police for emergency security or emergency SOS service has also been maintained to inform the contact persons.

While the ride-sharing apps in use in Nepal are only providing the facilities of motorbikes and taxis, Jau Guru will also provide facilitation services for bike delivery, mini-trucks, water tankers, and jeeps for rent. Along with this, the company said that those currently living in Kathmandu can rent mini trucks for moving rooms, delivery of bikes, water supply, and jeeps for long distances.
