Khaanpin
Foodloop is a subsidiary of Khaanpin, a cloud kitchen business. Khaanpin, which was founded in 2018 to bring food late at night in Kathmandu, quickly adapted to the challenges posed by COVID-19 and started providing deliveries even during the day.
The business acquired a permit from local authorities and ensured that all precautions were taken. including isolating employees at the office. Even though the pandemic was causing business difficulties, Khaanpin got a lot of love and support from its customers.
Khaanpin now runs an internet restaurant service that distributes cooked food, alcohol, bakery, and mart items in Kathmandu and Pokhara via its fleet of delivery riders 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Furthermore, the business supplies frozen foods to various restaurant kitchens.
Khaanpin was founded by five co-founders: Isha Balla, Vishal Shrestha, Prasiddha Adhikari, Umesh Sapkota, and Shaswot Adhikari, and it now employs over 150 people in full-time, part-time, contract-based, and weekly roles.
