Mega Bank Launches Mega MEDI Card with a credit facility of up to Rs. 1.5 Lakh. Mega Bank Nepal Limited is the second-largest commercial bank in Nepal. The bank is an ‘A’ commercial bank. It is licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank Limited.

Mega Bank Nepal Limited has introduced an attractive facility called ‘Mega Medi Card’ with the objective of providing the necessary funds to its customers for hospital treatment.

Customers availing of the credit card facility of Mega Bank Nepal Limited can avail of the credit card (Insta-By) facility for a minimum of Rs.20,000 to Rs.150,000 for 18 months.

However, the bank believes that this arrangement will make it easier for customers to raise money for treatment immediately.

The bank has made arrangements to provide this facility to the customers within two days of the submission of the required documents.

According to Bishwa Singh, head of the bank’s digital and e-banking department, the facility is free of charge and offers a 50 percent discount on credit card fees.

In addition, the bank has also introduced the facility of paying the health package to the customers who are using the credit card facility from the bank.

Mega Bank has stated that this facility will be very convenient and effective as the family of the patient will be provided the amount for the payment of the hospital bill on the basis of the certificate of relationship.

Under this, the hospital bill can be paid to the hospital through a credit card by submitting it directly to the bank and the customers will also be able to reimburse the bill they have already paid.
