Ncell Lottery Scam in Nepal, Lottery of 2.5 Million Businesses in the name of Ncell

LOTTERY OF RS.2.5 MILLION’ BUSINESS, IN THE NAME OF NCELL, SOMEWHERE YOU WERE NOT DECEIVED?

The development in technology has given us various advantages but somewhere we are deceived by the technology. People misuse technology for their self benefits.

The scam is increasing rapidly these days. People send fake messages and even call and say they have won a various gift and cash prizes too.

In recent times, users of social networks like WhatsApp and Viber have been receiving phone calls and messages saying that 2.5 million has been won in the lottery.

It has been found that there has been an activity of tempting social users by calling them saying that they have won Rs 2.5 million in the lucky draw conducted by Ncell Axiata recently.

Customers have complained to Ncell about fake calls and messages.

Ncell has urged to beware of false and misleading messages or calls saying that no lottery or prize scheme has been conducted as claimed in such calls.

“The company has drawn attention to complaints that Ncell has received a misleading message by calling customers from apps like WhatsApp and Viber to provide lottery/lottery information and asking them to provide their bank account details to collect the amount,” Ncell said in a statement.

The company has requested not to believe the call or message coming from other numbers taking Ncell’s name as it always calls from Ncell’s official number to provide information to its customers.

As well as any of your personal details; Information is requested not to provide the bank account number, password, or other personal details to anyone.

‘For Ncell plans or other offers, please request information from Ncell’s official website or social network.

 We would like to inform you that the company is not responsible for the consequences that may arise as a result of wrong and misleading messages or calls,” the statement said.
