Ncell Axiata Limited, a leading mobile service provider in Nepal, has alerted customers about potential network disruptions in various areas of Kathmandu and Lalitpur districts today.
The company issued a notice on Friday, stating that Ncell’s mobile services may be affected on Saturday, 6th July, in different locations of Kathmandu and Lalitpur.
According to the notice, the Nepal Electricity Authority has scheduled an upgrading process for the Teku substation on the same day, which will occur from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During this period, the power supply to the area will be affected, consequently impacting the operation of mobile towers and causing potential disruptions to Ncell’s network services.
The company acknowledged the inconvenience that customers may face during this time and apologized for any service interruptions that may occur.
In response to the situation, Ncell Axiata Limited is actively collaborating with relevant agencies and partners to ensure continuous service delivery.
They are carefully monitoring the situation and working towards minimizing the impact on their valued customers.
