Nepal has defeated Pakistan in ABU Asia Pacific Robert Contest Robocon 2018. Nepal won Pakistan with the point of 0 and 27.

Along with defeating Pakistan, Nepal has also won the ‘Best Shuttlecock Award.’ The competition which was placed in Vietnam included participants from other countries like Japan, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Fiji, India, Pakistan, and Sri-Lanka. Total of 18 countries showed their presence in the competition.

Since 2001 to present, date Robotics Club of Pulchowk Engineering Campus has been participating in ABU Robocon.

Mentor of the robotics club Ramesh Chaudhary informed “till date robotics club has won with India 6 times and two times with Sri-Lanka and Pakistan. Similarly, countries like Russia, South Korea, Philippines, Kazakhstan, Fiji, Sri-Lanka, Malaysia and Iran has also been defeated with Nepal in many other Robert competitions.
