Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited is Nepal’s first bank to contribute towards the economic development of the nation through large-scale investment.

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited has provided Rs. 49 lakhs to hospitals and isolation centers in all seven states. The bank, under its corporate social responsibility, is working to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (second wave) in the country. A total of Rs. 49 lakh has been provided to the hospitals and isolation centers of all the seven states at the rate of Rs. 7 lakh per hospital/isolation center.

The mentioned assistance amount is Damak Municipality in Province 1, Janakpur Provincial Hospital in Province 2, Panauti Municipality in Bagmati Province, Gorkha Municipality in Gandaki Province, Kapilvastu Municipality in Lumbini Province, also it has been provided to Birendranagar Municipality in Karnali and Mahakali Hospital in Province 7, the bank said.

The Bank has from time to time prioritized corporate social responsibility and has stated that the assistance amount has been provided as a decision to join hands with the government in the situation arising out of the infection of Covid 19 in the country as it has been supporting various organizations.
