This flagship program is designed to provide participants with an intensive, hands-on learning experience that fosters personal growth and leadership development.

The LEAD Course is structured to help young women explore their identities as leaders and change-makers. The program includes several key components, including:

  1. Leadership Institute: The course begins with a two-week intensive Leadership Institute, where participants develop essential skills such as public speaking, confidence building, and an understanding of Nepal’s most pressing issues.
  2. School Leadership Program: Participants will spend over 300 hours applying the knowledge gained in the Leadership Institute to real-world situations by leading sessions for Grade 9 students in both public and private schools across Kathmandu.
  3. Mentorship: Each participant is paired with an alumni mentor who provides guidance, support, and access to professional opportunities throughout the program.
  4. Field Visit: The course includes a field trip designed to offer hands-on learning experiences and exposure to new environments, broadening participants’ understanding of various topics.
  5. Advocacy Week: Participants will engage in a week-long program focused on developing and implementing advocacy projects that create long-term positive impacts in their communities.
  6. Professional Development Week: This week is dedicated to equipping participants with crucial professional skills, including resume writing, networking, interview preparation, and negotiation tactics.

Applications for the LEAD course are now open.
