Adhikari  says, ‘In the first quarter of last year, we were given a separate commission for selling recharge cards. Accordingly, a hundred rupees would have been calculated as the total income. But this time, while selling a recharge card of one hundred rupees, only 16  rupees were counted on the income. Providing  the direct discount to the card salesman, the initial turnover was Rs 32 crore . The director officer of the department said that the profitability of the 4G will balance all the loss.

He also says, ”The result of 4G is yet to come . Once the result is out we no longer have to face the revenue declination in coming years”. He claimed that, “ to increase the income products , networks and well action plans are needed. Today, Nepal telecom have all these requirements compared to the previous years”  As Nepal telecom is the largest telecommunication service provider in Nepal. Looking back to the history , it has given the internet and telephone through landline. Now, it has added FTTH and IPTV will also be added shortly. At the same time, 3G and 4G services is also available in the mobile internet. 4G services is being expanded extensively. Official says that the Nepal telecom is on the rise as voice services is declining worldwide. But, Nepal telecom will not be investing money on SMS services, CDMA and WiMAX anymore said Adhikari. After various controversy and allegations the 4G service has moved ahead gradually. He said that after the Commission of investigation  of Abuse Authority ordered to take forward 4G initiatives, the process have been moved forward.

Adhikari also added, “overcoming all the obstacles we have already expanded the services on 51 district with over 10 lakhs users.  In the marketing, Nepal telecom has adopted strategy of promoting its services among consumers by placing billboards and on magazines, on online etc.  Also, telecom is preparing to provide television services to FFTH.
