PEA, an entrance preparation institution has signed an agreement with Khalti to provide digital payment service for its customers through Khalti’s Digital Payment App.

With this partnership, entrance aspirants of the PEA Association across Nepal can now make their payment through Khalti easily and conveniently. Students who are preparing for their engineering entrance exam can now pay their fees from Khalti Bazaar using funds in their Khalti wallet or directly through the linked bank account, e-banking, and mobile banking options available in the app.

PEA was established in 1994 with a well trained professional staff from IOE, Pulchowk, and other prestigious colleges and universities of Nepal and India. It was initiated By Laxman Pokharel, a graduate of Pulchowk Campus. It started with a mere small building in Kupondole and has grown to a rather large establishment employing around 85 teachers and 38 office staff having its own academic building at Thapathali.

Started in January 2017, Khalti is an emerging mobile payment solution in Nepal. It provides various utility bill payment services, mobile recharge, DTH recharge, domestic flight booking, movie ticketing, event ticketing, hotel booking, newspaper subscriptions, payments at online shopping sites, and insurance premium payments among various other digital payments services. Khalti is a licensed Payment Service Provider from Nepal Rastra Bank.
