Cynical Technology presents “NepHACK” (an ethical hacking competition) at IT MEET 2018 organized by Kathmandu University on 5th and 6th of January. This event is based upon the Capture the Flag (CTF) framework where different teams compete with each other for the Ultimate Hacking Team Title. The participants are expected to break the security vulnerabilities in the given questions. Whenever you “hack” any of the given questions, you will be come across a flag. The flag will be the answer to your questions. All the questions will be weighted, and points will be awarded in accordance to the difficulty of the question.
This is the second edition of the ‘NepHAck’ event.
The planned cash prize for the winners of the competition is Rs. 20,000 for the first, followed by Rs.10,000 for the second and Rs.5,000 for the third place. Apart from this, the selected participant(s) will also get a chance of internship in Cynical Technologies.
