LCY Savings Deposit Rates
Prime Baideshik Remit Bachat Khata, Prime Premium Remit Bachat Khata, and Prime Remit Savings offer an interest rate of 4.02% per annum with no minimum balance requirement.
Prime Jeevan Surakshya Bachat Khata requires a minimum balance of NPR 5,000.00 and yields 3.02% per annum. Prime Supreme Corporate Staff Savings Account requires NPR 25,000.00 and earns 3.02% per annum. Prime Supreme Nari Bachat Khata requires NPR 5,000.00 and yields 3.02% per annum. Prime Supreme Karmachari Bachat Khata has a minimum balance of NPR 2,500.00 and offers 3.02% per annum. Prime Supreme Jestha Nagarik Bachat Khata requires NPR 5,000.00 and provides 3.02% per annum.
Prime Supreme Bachat Khata requires a minimum balance of NPR 5,000.00 and earns 2.76% per annum. LCY Recurring Deposits
- For Prime Recurring Deposit Account, a 1-year tenure with a minimum monthly amount of NPR 1,000.00 yields 3.00% per annum. Tenures of 2, 3, 5, 7, and 10 years offer an interest rate of 4.00% per annum.
- For Prime Recurring Remit Deposit Account, a 1-year tenure requiring a minimum monthly deposit of NPR 1,000.00 yields 4.00% per annum. Tenures of 2, 3, 5, 7, and 10 years offer an interest rate of 5.00% per annum.
LCY Fixed Deposits and Call Deposits
- For LCY Fixed Deposits with a tenure from 3 months to below 6 months, Individual deposits earn 2.80% per annum and Individual-Remittance deposits earn 3.80% per annum, while institutional deposits are not available (N/A).
- For tenures from 6 months to below 1 year, Individual deposits earn 2.90% per annum, Individual-Remittance deposits offer 3.90% per annum, and Institutional deposits earn 2.75% per annum.
- For tenures from 1 year to below 2 years, Individual deposits receive 3.00% per annum, Individual-Remittance deposits earn 4.00% per annum, and Institutional deposits receive 2.75% per annum.
- For tenures of 2 years and above, Individual deposits earn 4.00% per annum, Individual-Remittance deposits receive 5.00% per annum, and Institutional deposits earn 2.75% per annum. LCY Call Deposit rates are offered up to 1.37% per annum.
Foreign Currency Deposits
- For USD products, savings deposits earn 1.75% per annum, fixed deposits offer 3.60% per annum, and call deposits yield up to 1.00% per annum.
- For EURO products, savings deposits earn 0.50% per annum, fixed deposits offer 1.50% per annum, and call deposits yield up to 0.25% per annum.
- For GBP products, savings deposits offer 0.50% per annum, fixed deposits yield 1.50% per annum, and call deposits provide up to 0.25% per annum.
- For JPY products, savings deposits offer 0.50% per annum, fixed deposits yield 1.50% per annum, and call deposits provide up to 0.25% per annum.
- For other FCY deposits, rates are available upon request. For FCY Remittance Deposits, a minimum of 1% additional interest rate shall be provided. FCY Fixed Deposit tenure shall be 3 months and above for Individuals, and 6 months and above for Institutions.
Floating Lending Interest Rates
- Floating interest rates across various loan schemes are calculated by adding a risk premium over the bank base rate. Deprived Sector (Institutional) and Deprived Sector (Retail) rates are set at Base Rate + up to 5.00% per annum.
- Working Capital Loan, Cash Credit, Demand Loan, Term Loan, Trust Receipt Loan, Export Credit, SME Loan, Hire Purchase Loan Commercial Vehicle, and Hire Purchase Loan Private Vehicle all carry rates of Base Rate + up to 5.00% per annum.
- Loan against Fixed Deposit held with Prime Bank is set at Coupon Rate + up to 2.00%. Mortgage Overdraft Loan, Mortgage Term Loan, Loan against Share, Professional Loan, Bridge Gap Loan, and Education Loan are all offered at Base Rate + up to 5.00% per annum. Loan against Government Bond carries a rate of Base Rate + up to 2.00% per annum.
- Prime Home Loan, Prime Home Loan Repair, Prime Agriculture Loan, Prime Laghu Udhyam Loan, Prime Self Employment Loan, Prime Consumption Loan, Prime Personal Loan, Equipment Loan, Loan against Gold & Silver, and Prime Bewashaya Jeevan Rakshya Karja are all set at Base Rate + up to 5.00% per annum.
Interest rates for Consortium Loans shall be as per consortium decision.
Fixed Lending Interest Rates
- Prime Home Loans with fixed interest rates range from 9.00% to 11.00% per annum.
- Prime Hire Purchase Loans under fixed rate schemes range from 9.00% to 11.00% per annum.
- Mortgage Loans with fixed rates range from 9.00% to 11.00% per annum.
- Other Personal Nature Loans under fixed rate schemes range from 9.00% to 11.00% per annum.
Key Loan Conditions and Regulatory Terms
- Interest rates on foreign currency loans shall be determined on a deal-to-deal basis as per market movement, subject to applicable NRB guidelines.
- Interest rates on loan products directed by NRB for any specific sector shall strictly follow NRB guidelines.
- The interest rate difference between loans of similar nature shall be managed as per NRB Directive No. 15/082.
